C5MI is a certified SAP Partner and systems integrator, founded in 2017, solving complex logistics and supply chain problems for the US Federal Government and Fortune 200 companies. Infrastructure-Free RTLS for Material Handling Fleets
C5MI offers Slamcore Aware and Slamcore Hub across North America under a Value-Added Reseller agreement, bringing continuous real time visibility to forklifts, tugs and other manually driven material handling equipment without fixed anchors, beacons or tags.
Each Slamcore Aware unit combines a 3D stereo camera, an onboard compute module and Slamcore’s spatial intelligence software to deliver precise vehicle positioning and spatial awareness. Slamcore Hub manages the whole device fleet centrally. Open REST, WebSocket and VDA5050 interfaces feed that location data into C5MI’s Omnipoint platform and SAP Extended Warehouse Management, giving operators real time insight into equipment utilisation, travel paths, congestion and warehouse performance.
This extends C5MI’s existing real time location work to the fleets and facilities where fixed infrastructure has never been practical. For aerospace, defence and Department of War operations in particular, the case is immediate: depots, maintenance hangars, munitions storage and forward logistics sites can span millions of square feet, operate under strict security and accountability requirements, and rarely permit crews to retrofit new infrastructure.
Crews can fit Slamcore Aware to existing forklifts and tugs in days rather than months. The result is continuous, auditable visibility into asset movement, pedestrian safety and material flow, feeding the property accountability and readiness reporting these operations depend on, and moving the facility further along C5MI’s maturity model at every step.
