I’m excited to join Slamcore and help shape the future of Spatial Intelligence in industry.
After more than a decade working at the intersection of manufacturing, intralogistics, digital transformation, and industrial software, I am excited to announce that I am joining Slamcore.
Looking back at my career, there has always been one consistent theme: helping industrial companies unlock the value of technology by making complex operations more transparent, more connected, and ultimately more intelligent.
At TRUMPF, I had the opportunity to work on Smart Factory initiatives, connected manufacturing environments, Industry 4.0 concepts, and intralogistics solutions. A particular focus was understanding how digital technologies can bridge the gap between the physical and digital worlds of production. From connected manufacturing systems to future-oriented factory concepts, I became fascinated by the idea that operational excellence starts with visibility and actionable data.
Later, at Siemens Logistics and subsequently Körber, my focus expanded further into strategic product management, business intelligence, digital transformation, IoT strategies, digital twins, and AI-powered computer vision solutions. Whether building strategic roadmaps, analyzing market developments, creating data-driven decision frameworks, or developing AI-based products, the objective remained the same: enabling organizations to make better decisions through better information.
This is exactly why joining Slamcore feels like such a natural next step.
Slamcore’s technology combines Visual SLAM, sensor fusion, and advanced AI to create real-time positioning, mapping, and environmental understanding. In simple terms, it enables machines and vehicles to understand where they are, what surrounds them, and how their environment evolves over time.
For warehouses and manufacturing facilities, this opens up tremendous opportunities.
Many industrial sites still struggle with limited visibility of assets, vehicle movements, material flows, and operational bottlenecks. Digitalization initiatives often begin with a simple but fundamental question: What is actually happening on the shop floor right now?
Spatial Intelligence provides a powerful answer. By creating a live understanding of facilities, vehicles, people, and assets, organizations can build the foundation for safer operations, higher productivity, more efficient workflows, and ultimately more advanced digital transformation initiatives. Slamcore’s solutions are designed to deliver real-time location and perception capabilities without requiring extensive additional infrastructure, making this vision more accessible than ever.
I am excited about the opportunity to support customers on their digitalization journey; transforming facilities into data-driven environments where people, vehicles, assets, and processes become visible, measurable, and continuously optimizable.
I am looking forward to working with customers, partners, and the talented team at Slamcore to accelerate the adoption of Spatial Intelligence across warehouses and factories, and to help create the next generation of truly connected and data-driven industrial operations.
Here’s to the next chapter.
If you’d like to explore how this can apply to your operations, I’d be happy to connect.
